Went to get a emissions retest and was told "the emissions guy is gone and we are closing up" at 1:17pm by the same guy who did my first test a week earlier. I ate the $25 and went somewhere else. Never trust a mechanic shop that lies to you for something so little. Im sure the hours were affected by NYE but what time were you closing? 1:20?

He does the emission test but we are down 3 technicians so we had no one left to do the job because we closed at 2pm for the holiday so he did tell you the truth. Here at Extra Mile we take pride in our service and being 100% upfront with customers. To give us a 1star for that one situation and not trust us in the future is a disappointment, we would love to take care of all your vehicles needs and we are back to normal hours starting Monday. Thanks again for the review and have a safe New Year from all of us at Extra Mile.

Every time I need service I go the Extra Mile. They are always courteous and helpful. This time I need an emissions test. In addition they were able to fix my key fob. I was so grateful for the extra service in spite of the Christmas rush awaiting them. I would highly recommend them.

Outstanding service and capability. Been taking our cars to Extra Mile ever since their inception (as Back on the Road). Reliable and can be counted on to be thorough, make recommendations for vehicle addressing what needs to be done and no more that that. Finally, they always allow customer the option on what work is ultimately completed on vehicle - never any surprises. While I haven't shopped around other than dealer repair shops, I feel certain Extra Mile is competitively priced and fair.
