Expensive!!!

My car was worse when they gave it back to me than when I brought it in, after I spent nearly $1700! We brought our car in for brakes and our check engine light was on. In hopes of getting emissions testing, they ran report where it said we needed a water pump and a catalytic converter. The water pump was fixed at this visit and we decided to wait on the catalytic converter. They said once the catalytic converter was fixed we'd pass emissions - perfect. We pick up the car and the entire instrument cluster went out so we could not longer see the mph, mileage or anything for that matter. They proceeded to say we brought it in that way, in which we did not (I think I'd point that out if I brought my car in that way - whatever)... Come to find out that's a common problem in a Prius - OK, so we take it to Toyota to get that fixed as the car was now not driveable. $777 later at Toyota the cluster unit works BUT now all of the warning lights are activated on the dash! AND we went to have a second opinion on the catalytic converter being replaced and passing emissions in which they tell us, yes this has to be replaced as well as a code pulling that the hybrid battery is going out which is ~$4,000! I called Tim at extra mile and left a message on their machine and never heard back from anyone. So, I guess Extra Mile was going to allow us to not only sink $1700 into fixing the brakes/water pump but also come back for the catalytic converter for $800 just to find out we still can't pass emissions and we need a $4,000 hybrid battery? I am appalled at how they didn't think to tell us this detail as we would have just purchased another vehicle. And the fact that every emergency light was ON after Toyota fixed the head unit means something went VERY wrong at that shop (maybe this is why you turned off all of our lights in the head unit)? Anyways after $2500 of repairs, we went to CarMax traded the Prius in and got a newer used car. I will never go back to Extra Mile and I don't recommend anyone else going either. We work hard for our money and to have this place mess up our car even more and lead us into more repairs on a hopeless car is sickening.

Stopped in for an oil change. Was told it would be 45 minutes. No problem so I went to the waiting room. After about 5 minutes the owner came over & tried tisell me extra services & I declinded. He then told me since I don't use them for my mechanic he would lose money on my okl change & I should go somewhere else. Wow, iihave never had someone tell me to spend more or leave. So now I am at Express Oil Change & Service getting treated the way I should.

Im grateful to have found a place that is quick, professional, and hasn’t tried to hustle me. I know very little about cars but I do have a strong intuition. Other shops would try to sell me a $1000+ service and tell me I wouldn’t pass emissions unless I had it done. Im glad I decided to trust my gut and try a different shop. I passed emissions at Extra Mile yesterday. It was only a 10 minute wait. They told me a break light was out and they just went ahead and replaced it in those ten minutes. The gentleman handling payments was very friendly and kind. Thank you all for your hard work and my first positive experience at a shop!

This place is quick and efficient. Trustworthy is the main thing. They are not doing repairs that are unnecessary. They diagnose the problem and get it fixed at resonable prices. You can tell when you're there the patrons have been here before and it is a trusted establishment. Highly recommend.

They're trustworthy, Ive taken my vehicles here for just about all maintenance and repairs for years. I always feel they're honest and I never get a pressured upsell. I pretty much always know what's wrong with a vehicle before I take it in, and I've never had them tell me anything else was wrong. They open early. They're not the cheapest garage but pricing isn't bad, and if you get what you pay for, you're getting a deal anyway. They do excellent work and stand behind it after the sale.

I went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Unfortunately I waited 2 hours for it to be completed only to find out it was finished in about 20 minutes. They were busy and felt bad for not informing me that my vehicle was done, so they covered my bill. I will be returning for my future car needs. Stand-up guys at Tire Pros-- Thank you!

Lied about my car needing new rotors in addition to new brakes. Otherwise, fast service on my oil change.
