Five hours (almost 6 with travel time) for 2 belts and a set of wipers. Unnecessary upsell tactics for services not agreed to, no call when car was ready. $300 dollars. Despite making an appointment no parts ordered or arrangements made to service car, had to ask for a ride home to take medicine it took so long. I will not be back, my life is just too short. First, I didn't want to post this on Google and found the owners name to contact him directly in private (especially based on his philosophies shared on social media) but could not find a way to contact him privately. So sorry about this going on Google. Every employee I interacted with was kind, helpful and polite. I didn't complain to them about anything because they were very nice, but I should have had the courage to say something. Frankly it's really uncomfortable, especially when someone has your car in their hands to complain for fear that someone might get mad. Sort of like you never complain to the wait staff at a restaurant. I made an appointment on Wednesday to have two belts and washer blades replaced on my car on Friday at 7AM,. As the person who set my appointment looked at the car there should not have been a question as to the make,, model, parts required or tools needed. Neither belt was broken but I take very good care of my car and proactively address anything that makes a noise or seems off. I should note at this point that other than the belts my car goes to the dealership at least one a year for all maintenance scheduled and preventative and is in excellent condition outside of normal wear. I arrived a few minutes late, but I was checked in, keys handed over and seated in the waiting area by 7:14AM by the time on my phone. I didn't want, ask for or expect any part of my car to be handled in any way except the agreed upon repairs. However, the tech took it upon himself to remove filters, examine brakes, all sorts of things outside the scope of our agreement and then of course upsold me for an additional service. I find it very uncomfortable to be put in that position where someone is telling you that if you don't do this your call will smoke or other bad things. Two hours later, no communication, I approached the counter and asked what was going on. The belts had not been preordered and they needed a special tool to changes belts. Why this was not all arranged prior to the appointment I have no idea. I assume part of the two hour wait was the unrequested of the rest of my car. I told the gentleman that I had to go home as I had medication I needed to take and hadn't expected this appointment to take 2 hours. They were very nice and drove me home and picked me up later. At 11:10AM I called them, now 5 hours almost to the dot and inquired about the car. They said they were busy but it was ready and they would come and get me which they did. They didn't call me, I had to call them. I finally got home around 12:00. Nice people but I won't be back. 5 hours, almost 6 with travel time, $300 dollars, had to ride with a stranger to get home and back, despite the appointment no arrangements made to perform repairs. unnecessary attempts to upsell.
